Aren't we like Moses sometimes? We list out the reasons why certain promises cannot be fulfilled in our lives. We do not take promises seriously enough to claim it as our own. We are full of doubts, depending on our own merits and resources. We do not trust completely. We are fallible beings after all.
For us comes the reminder again: “Is the Lord’s arm too short?"
Let us answer Him "No" and claim His promises without a doubt with a grateful heart. Amen!
But
Moses said, “Here I am among six hundred thousand men on foot, and you
say, ‘I will give them meat to eat for a whole month!’ Would
they have enough if flocks and herds were slaughtered for them? Would
they have enough if all the fish in the sea were caught for them?” The Lord answered Moses, “Is the Lord’s arm too short? Now you will see whether or not what I say will come true for you.” Numbers 11:21-23
Once again we have the same message from the Lord for today's Coffee with Jesus: Is the Lord's arm too short?
We are all familiar with the above portion of the Scripture where Moses candidly shares his doubts with the Lord when He tells him that he was going to feed meat to the people for a whole month. That's when the Lord answers Him: “Is the Lord’s arm too short? Now you will see whether or not what I say will come true for you.”
[We also read towards the end of the same chapter that it did come true as promised; however they were punished for their arrogance, rebellion and doubt, which is a whole another discussion for some other time.]
For us comes the reminder again: “Is the Lord’s arm too short?"
Let us answer Him "No" and claim His promises without a doubt with a grateful heart. Amen!
