No weapon forged against you will prevail. Isaiah 54:17
Some of us might be overwhelmed by the thought of a constant "Spiritual warfare" at hand. The war against our flesh, the war against sin, the war against the fallen world. By war I mean the conflicts, a constant repelling force which makes our faith walk all the more harder.
With that we wrap up the week. Aren't you glad it is finally Friday? Let's go celebrate!
For those who care, coffee will brew over the weekend too. Stop by if at all you can...
No weapon forged against you will prevail. Isaiah 54:17
Surely he will save you from the fowler’s snare and from the deadly pestilence. He
will cover you with his feathers, and under his wings you will find
refuge; his faithfulness will be your shield and rampart. You will not
fear the terror of night, nor the arrow that flies by day, nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the plague that destroys at midday. Psalm 91:3-6
Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. Psalm 23:6
Some of us might be overwhelmed by the thought of a constant "Spiritual warfare" at hand. The war against our flesh, the war against sin, the war against the fallen world. By war I mean the conflicts, a constant repelling force which makes our faith walk all the more harder.
Today's
message comes as a reminder that we can find solace in His presence
where we can rest. As we start loving Him more, as we start enjoying His
presence, the journey gets better. We will truly cherish His company
rather than be afraid of the attacks on the way.
We can be confident that the One with us is mightier than the army with them. How so? Because the Bible tells us so! Amen!
"I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this
world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the
world." John 16:33
