Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the LORD our Maker. Psalm 96:9
It is such a privilege we enjoy to be able to freely worship the Lord. I say privilege because most are denied the fellowship of believers and some are even persecuted and killed for coming together and worshiping the Lord!
Even those of us who live in a free country must consider it a privilege and thank the Lord for the good health and transportation which enable us to go and worship the Lord.
True! We can worship Him everyday within the confines of our homes by ourselves; but it is nowhere close to the sheer joy of worshiping the Lord in the fellowship of believers. When we come together as a Church to worship Him we are made complete - as we are one body - His bride!
Let us be mindful of that as we go on to worship the Lord today. Let us go into His presence with singing, dancing and a heart full of praise. Let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker!
It is His love that connects us across the miles. It is the same Savior we all serve. It is His salvation that makes us one big happy family of faith.
