Come, children, listen to me;
I will teach you the fear of the LORD.
Who is the man who delights in life,
who desires to see good days?

Keep your tongue from evil
and your lips from deceitful speech.
Turn away from evil and do good;
seek peace and pursue it. Psalm 34:11-14

Last couple  of days we have been learning about the importance of fearing the Lord. Today's scripture portion tells us how we can teach our children to fear the Lord.

In a nutshell this is all we need to impart to our children to instill God fearing in them:

* Keep your tongues from evil
* Keep your lips from deceitful speech
* Turn away from evil
* Turn towards doing good
* Seek peace
* Pursue peace
