Godliness with contentment is great gain. 1 Timothy 6:6

Better a little with the fear of the LORD than great treasure with turmoil. Proverbs 15:16

He said to them, "Watch out! Guard yourselves against every form of greed, for one's life does not consist in the abundance of his possessions." Luke 12:15

Keep your lives free from the love of money and be content with what you have, for God has said: "Never will I leave you, never will I forsake you." Hebrews 13:5

Godly - being after God's own heart leads to contentment, as we know our boundary lines have fallen for us in the pleasant places. 

We will be assured that God has blessed us according to His riches. We will not then run after treasures of this world but be grateful for the love, peace, joy, health and wealth we enjoy. 

Are we godly? Are we content? Then the scripture says we have gained much.
