"Where, O death, is your victory? Where, O death, is your sting?" 1 Corinthians 15:55
Clearly death stings. There is this ache and pain and grief and helplessness we all feel when we lose a loved one. But today's scripture suggests there is still joy and peace and hope beyond death.
The joy of reuniting with them some day. The peace that they are sleeping in the Lord. The hope of life eternal.
So anytime the thought stings us with fresh tears let us be grateful for the beautiful life that we shared here and hopeful for the life eternal together with God.
God bless you dears. He alone can wipe away our tears.
