For to me, to live is Christ and to die is gain. Philippians 1:21

We all like to live. Live a happy healthy worry free life. Good. But do we realize this life we so love is only temporary? That we are only passerby's? That we are not of this world?

For our citizenship is in heaven, from which also we eagerly wait for a Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ Philippians 3:20

To live is Christ!

What does that mean? It means that the primary focus of our living or the sole purpose of our very existence in this world is to live for Christ.

Now, can we boldly truly make such a statement? For me, to live is Christ and to die is gain?

What is your greatest fear?

Do we fear of losing friends, our reputations, our status in the society?

"For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and forfeits his soul? Or what will a man give in exchange for his soul?" Matthew 16:26

For me to live is Christ! Paul knew all along never to lose sight of what his life was all about. It was all about Jesus. Nothing else!

How about us? Can we refocus the purpose of our lives? Whether we like it or not time is running out; it is about time we start to live for Jesus Christ and Him alone!
