He saved us, not because of the righteous things we had done, but because of his mercy. He washed away our sins, giving us a new birth and new life through the Holy Spirit. Titus 3:5

Birth is the beginning of life; to be born again, is to begin to live anew - redeemed, reformed &  regenerated. A second chance at life. A life with Christ. A life born in Christ. A life filled with Christ. A clean slate. A baby you! Brand new. Just born. Now growing in Christ, cherishing His bread (Word of God), drinking from the streams of living water (Holy Spirit), and ever evolving to reflect Christ. Amen!

What it is to be born again? Good question. Nicodemus the Pharisee, a member of the Jewish ruling council had the very question one night.

Jesus replied, “Very truly I tell you, no one can see the kingdom of God unless they are born again.

“How can someone be born when they are old?” Nicodemus asked. “Surely they cannot enter a second time into their mother’s womb to be born!”

Jesus answered, “Very truly I tell you, no one can enter the kingdom of God unless they are born of water and the Spirit. Flesh gives birth to flesh, but the Spirit gives birth to spirit." John 3:3-6

Further more John explains in the same chapter,

For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son. John 3:16-18

Do you have the assurance of being born again in the Holy Spirit? Do you acknowledge Jesus Christ died for your sins and resurrected the third day and forever lives?  If not, please check Him out. If anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come. II Corinthians 5:17
