The Lord says: "These people come near to me with their mouth and honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me. Their worship of me is made up only of rules taught by men. Isaiah 29: 13
As we get ready to worship the Lord today, let us take a closer look at how we worship. Is our worship made up of only rules taught by men? OR is our worship streaming from sincere desire of our heart?
Do we only go to Him with our mouth and honor Him with our lips, OR do we truly love Him heart of heart?
Are we giving more importance to what we wear (or what we do not), or are we concerned to keep our inner beings holy and presentable to God?
If knowingly or unknowingly we have been trapped in to "rules taught by men" as opposed to true form of worship, let us seek to free our selves today.
Let us be careful not to blindly follow any form of "worship" or teachings that are not in sync with the Word of God.
Let us worship our Lord with sincere hearts. Remember He is worthy of all of praises and honor and power and majesty and only He is worthy to be worshipped.
Enjoy the "Son"day! God bless you all!
