This is what the LORD says: "I will restore the fortunes of Jacob's tents and have compassion on his dwellings..." Jeremiah 30:18
Saturday we learnt that our Lord will restore our fallen tents. Today's message is in the same lines, this time it is the 'fortunes of our tents' He promises to restore. Amen! Praise the Lord!
With the economic downturn we all experience the value of our houses dwindling down and it is a great cause for panic among many. But for those of us whose trust is in the Lord, there is no need to panic. Just as today's Scripture promises us, the Lord has compassion on our dwellings! Amen! He will restore the fortunes of our tents! Amen!
It is the Lord who is our supplier. He is our Source which never runs out. In Psalm 104:28 King David sings, "When you give it to them, they gather it up; when you open your hand, they are satisfied with good things." Amen!
If you are still not convinced, here's a suggested reading for you to stop worrying: Matthew 6:25-34. My favorite line says: ... your heavenly Father knows that you need them (verse 32).
Peter instructs, "Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." I Peter 5: 7
At the very least let us pray over these verses and ask the Lord to restore our faith and also the fortunes of our homes today. Shall we?
