Fear not, little flock

Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Luke 12:32

Amen! Praise God for this beautiful promise this morning. The Lord is our Shepherd! A Good Shepherd! We are His sheep - a little flock.

Though we are few in numbers against the world we need not fear. Because it is the Shepherd's good pleasure to give us the kingdom - the green pastures, the joy of salvation, the peace in His presence, the assurance of His providence - it is all in His will for us! Amen!

He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young. Isaiah 40:11

“I am the good shepherd; I know my sheep and my sheep know me— just as the Father knows me and I know the Father—and I lay down my life for the sheep. John 10:14-15
 
The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not be in want. Psalm 23:1

If the Lord is our Shepherd and has led us thus far, why wouldn't we trust Him for the rest of the way? If it is His will to give us the kingdom, would He not provide for all our daily needs?

Is anything too hard for the LORD?
