* Provide for those who grieve in Zion--to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. Isaiah 61:3

As we unfold from the aftermath of Sandy and return to normalcy here in the East Cost of USA, for some it is never going to be the same. Their lives have changed upside down overnight. Many have lost homes, some have lost loved ones. No word of comfort can truly console them.

However for the children of God there is hope! There is consolation at His feet. His words offer comfort and peace beyond understanding.

The Lord is our strength (Exodus 15:7, Psalm 28:7); the beautiful garment is the salvation through Jesus Christ (Isaiah 61:10). When we put on the Lord as our strength and wear the garment of righteousness then we will have a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of gladness instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. Amen!

Please be comforted in His promises. They are yeah & amen!
