Praise the Lord! Happy February 14th! 

What a blessing it is to start a day with such a promise from the Lord.

They will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown their heads. Gladness and joy will overtake them, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.

Amen!

Just as with any promise from the Lord, we are actually going to claim this promise for us and ours. What does it mean to claim a promise? It simply means we will accept it as a promise given directly to us, from our Lord.  It is God's very WORDS spoken for us. It is His way of assuring us that He is in control of all matters big and small. 

If we were to claim this promise we must read it as:

We will enter Zion with singing; everlasting joy will crown our heads. Gladness and joy will overtake us, and sorrow and sighing will flee away.

Amen! 

No matter what the situation is now. Everlasting joy will be ours. Gladness and joy will overtake us. Sorrow and sighing will flee away.

How many of us want this blessing for this new month? Sure, it is yours to keep! Praise the Lord.
