Now then, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be My own possession among all the peoples, for all the earth is Mine, and you shall be to Me a kingdom of priests and a holy nation. Exodus 19:5-6
Dear friends, I urge you, as foreigners and exiles, to abstain from sinful desires, which wage war against your soul. Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.

How many of us feel like royals this morning? Hardly any. But indeed we are royal priesthood, holy nation and God's special possession! Amen!
We are a chosen people, called out of darkness, called in to His marvelous light. Praise the Lord!
The Scripture goes on to remind us that, Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God; once you had not received mercy, but now you have received mercy. I Peter 2:10
Therefore,
I Peter 2:11-12
It is on our part to live such a life worthy of our calling so that the pagans amongst whom we live, see our lives and glorify God.
