Our minds often go back to the past - of our losses, failures, younger & energetic days, etc. making us more and more nostalgic about our former "Egypt" missing out on the current "Canaan".
The word of God clearly instructs us to stay away from holding on to the past and to acknowledge His providence for the here and now, instead.
For those of us who can't do it on our own, His grace will help us through - to forget the former things and to not consider the things of old.
We will see the miraculous ways God will continue to provide for us through the rest of our lives. Amen. Let us happily accept and cherish the current blessings in our lives.
