There are six things that the LORD hates, seven that are detestable to Him:
- haughty eyes,
- a lying tongue,
- hands that shed innocent blood,
- a heart that devises wicked schemes,
- feet that run swiftly to evil,
- a false witness who gives false testimony,
- and one who stirs up discord among brothers.
Let us be careful not to develop any of these habits that our Lord hates.
As we go through this list this morning, if there is any doubt that we maybe guilty of one or two or few or all of these behaviors, let us at once repent and set it right before the Lord.
With God's help surely we can. Amen!
