Happy March everyone! As we start a new month today, wanted to try something new.(alright, we have done it before - few years ago)

We have 31 days in March and 31 chapters in Proverbs. The idea is to read and review one chapter every day. Then we will discuss whichever verse speaks to each one of us. Please feel free to share your thoughts in the comments section below.

Verse of the day: "...whoever listens to me will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm." Proverbs 1:33

My two cents: Proverbs keeps talking about one thing and one thing only - which is 'to gain wisdom'. It is my understanding that 'this wisdom' also refers to the 'saving knowledge of Jesus Christ'. Wherever it appears that the wisdom is talking- as in the verse above, it perfectly makes sense to read it as God Himself talking. Just as it says, whoever listens to Him will live in safety and be at ease, without fear of harm...

Of course we all wish to live in safety and be at ease without fear of harm. The only thing we have to do on our part is to listen to Him - The Wisdom - who is calling. Shall we?
