According to Merriam-Webster dictionary, Hope is:
The Bible says, If only for this life we have hope in Christ, we are to be pitied more than all men. (I Cor 15:19)
Let us not forget the ultimate reward - which is our salvation. Prophet Jeremiah writes, The LORD [is] my portion, saith my soul; therefore will I hope in him. Lamentation 3:24
King David constantly sings about his hope in the Lord:
Lord, where do I put my hope? My only hope is in you. Psalm 39:7 (NLT)
For you have been my hope, O Sovereign LORD, my confidence since my youth. Psalm 71:5
I wait for you, O LORD; you will answer, O Lord my God. Psalm 38:15
Can we sing the same today? What is our hope? Who is our hope on?
May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. Romans 15:13
