"Go in peace, and may the God of Israel grant you what you have asked of him." 1 Samuel 1:17
We will shout for joy when you are victorious and will lift up our banners in the name of our God. May the LORD grant all your requests. Psalm 20:5
What strikes me most in these Scriptures is the goodness of heart from which such abundance of blessings flows. The first was Prophet Eli's response to Hannah crying and praying for a child.
The latter was a song written by King David possibly to bless his son or someone very significant to him, or maybe it was to be sung by the choir to him who was the king.
We all would love these blessings for us this morning. Fair enough! Why not wish the same blessing to someone else in need of a word of encouragement today?!
I believe it is an awesome idea to bless others which would then fill our hearts with an abundance of goodness as well.

Whoever believes in me (Jesus), as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him. John 7:38
