"Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD rises upon you. See, darkness covers the earth and thick darkness is over the peoples, but the Lord rises upon you and his glory appears over you. Nations will come to your light, and kings to the brightness of your dawn." Isaiah 60:1-3

Just as the moon reflects the light from the sun, we as believers are called to reflect the light we have received from God's only Son.

We can not deny the fact that the world is in darkness. The faithful are ridiculed and sin is tolerated by the society. We can not speak about God in public. All pagan festivities are welcome with open arms but when it comes to rejoicing in the Spirit, clapping hands and singing, worshipping the Lord in loud voice, it is not widely accepted.

We are called to shine in such darkness. How do we do that? By not getting sunk into darkness our self and to continue to reflect on His glorious light.
