To the pure, all things are pure, but to those who are corrupted and do not believe, nothing is pure. In fact, both their minds and consciences are corrupted. Titus 1:15

To the pure You show Yourself pure, but to the crooked You show Yourself shrewd. 2 Samuel 22:7

Do you find yourself being suspicious of people and even God Himself? Do you have trust issues? Do you constantly judge someone's motive even while appearing peaceable and friendly outwardly? As per today's scriptures it is a heart condition. If we are pure (good) we will look at others also as pure and good, whereas if our heart is corrupt, others will seem corrupt also.

There are plenty of scriptures that insist on the importance of a pure heart; here's listing some for your reference.

He who loves a pure heart and gracious lips will have the king for a friend. Proverbs 22:11

Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God. Matthew 5:8

With the help of the Holy Spirit we can get there - to a beautiful purer self.

But first we need to admit we need His help. I definitely need His help; if you do too, simply repeat this one liner prayer with me:

Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right spirit within me. Psalm 51:10
