As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of springs; the autumn rains also cover it with pools. Psalm 84:6
It is commonly understood that Baca stands for weeping or lamenting and hence the term Valley of Baca is understood as Vale of tear. It could mean a tearful journey or a fearful valley. Either way we can cherish it becoming a place of springs where the autumn rain also covers it with pools. It shows God can make a way out for us even when there is no possibility.
There is a mention of a similar valley in a very familiar psalm: "Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me." Psalm 23:4
King David relates to many such valleys as he was mostly on the run - running for his dear life. He kept praising the Lord even as he walked through these difficult valleys and in the end God brought him victory! Praise can make our valley of tears to be filled with springs and autumn rains and pools.
What then is stopping us from doing just that?! Let's praise Him; shall we?!
