Planted by streams of water

He is like a tree planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in season and whose leaf does not wither. Whatever he does prospers. Psalm 1: 3

Who is this promise for? Who is like a tree planted by streams of water? Whatever who does prospers?

The answer is in the same psalm. We see that this person who is called "blessed" DOES NOT:

* Walk in the counsel of the wicked
* Stand in the way of sinners
* Sit in the seat of mockers

Also, this blessed person who is the recipient of the promise today DOES:

* Delight in the law of the Lord
* Meditate the law of the Lord day and night

If we follow these Do's and Don'ts surely the very same blessing will be ours. We will be blessed; like a tree planted by the streams of water yielding our fruits in season and our leaf will not wither. Whatever we do will prosper. Amen!
