"Now fear the LORD and serve him with all faithfulness. Throw away the gods your ancestors worshiped beyond the Euphrates River and in Egypt, and serve the LORD. Joshua 24:14

"If you are returning to the LORD with all your hearts, then rid yourselves of the foreign gods and Ashtoreths among you, prepare your hearts for the LORD, and serve Him only. 1 Samuel 7:3

House of Levi, praise the LORD; you who fear him, praise the LORD. Psalm 135:20

Who will not fear you, Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed." Revelation 15:4

We saw yesterday that we must fear the Lord. Today's focus is on the how to. How to fear the Lord, or what does it actually mean to fear the Lord? There are quite a few scriptures giving us insight into this, pretty much reinstating the very same message; and we have a few listed above.

From these scriptures we gather the following as what it actually means to fear the Lord:

1. Serve Him faithfully
2. Return to the Lord with all your hearts
3. Rid yourselves of the foreign gods
4. Prepare your hears for the Lord
5. Praise the Lord
6. Bring glory to the name of the Lord.

Makes sense right? Then why not start applying these as part of our day to day life?!
