And you shall love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. Deuteronomy 6:5

This is the first and foremost of all commandments to mankind, from God. Jesus Himself quoted it as the prime commandment to keep. 

Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. Mark 12:30
Reverend C.H.Spurgeon explains that our love to our Lord Jesus Christ:

* must be sincere, with all the heart.
* must be intelligent, with all the mind.
* must be emotional, with all the soul.
* must be intense and energetic, with all the strength.

Can it be said of our love for our God? Is it sincere, intelligent, emotional and fervent?

If the answer is a 'No' sadly nothing else you do as a believer matters.

Let us first set our heart right to love our Lord with all our heart, soul/mild and strength. Amen.
