Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name. Bring an offering and come before him; worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness. I Chronicles 16:29
Yesterday we saw that honor and respect are due unto the Lord; and today in the similar lines we are reminded that glory is due unto His name.
Giving glory to God means adoring, praising and worshipping the Lord God Almighty which comes from our heart and is proclaimed by our mouth.
Giving glory also indicates we bring an offering to the Lord when we come before Him. Remember not the lame and the blind but the best kind of offering is what is expected of us.
Not only that; giving glory to God should be part our daily activities too. In I Corinthians 10:31 Paul says, So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God.
