We often say of our Lord that He is the Lord Almighty or Almighty God. Do we fully understand what that means? Here are few verses from the Scriptures to give us some idea of the power of our Almighty God...
He who forms the mountains, creates the wind, and reveals his thoughts to man, he who turns dawn to darkness, and treads the high places of the earth--the LORD God Almighty is his name. Amos 4:13
He makes clouds rise from the ends of the earth; he sends lightning with the rain and brings out the wind from his storehouses. Psalm 135:7
Who has measured the waters in the hollow of his hand, or with the breadth of his hand marked off the heavens? Who has held the dust of the earth in a basket, or weighed the mountains on the scales and the hills in a balance? Isaiah 40:12
In the beginning you laid the foundations of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. Psalm102:25
