Pin It Now! Not so long ago we discussed the Prayer of Jabez during our coffee break. Let's look at the prayer of King Asa today, another powerful prayer that also got answered right away.

In the beginning of II Chronicles:14 we read, "Asa did what was good and right in the eyes of the LORD his God" and it goes on to say, "Then Asa called to the LORD his God and said, "LORD, there is no one like you to help the powerless against the mighty. Help us, O LORD our God, for we rely on you, and in your name we have come against this vast army. O LORD, you are our God; do not let man prevail against you."  It's well known how God struck down the enemies of King Asa and how his army carried off a great plunder.

I want to bring your attention to the words, "...there is no one like you to help the powerless against the mighty... " There may be situations where we as believers are so powerless against the world which seems mighty. We may feel so helpless and that our voices are not heard. We may not be able to fit in certain groups, do certain things and may be ridiculed by the world for that. It may be just you against all your friends when it comes to standing up for the faith. Let's not forget King Asa's prayer and how it got answered.

Here's your take away for the day,  "...there is no one like Him to help the powerless against the mighty..." Let's get out there with this power folks, the plunder is ours!
